We need leadership to come from outside this department that can better address the community complaints of all residents in the City of San Jose. San Jose Police Chief "Fast" Eddie Garcia has gone too far with his property SCAM's and continues to take from whoever he can bypassing the traditional channels of the asset forfeiture process. The property hustle that goes on nets a massive amount of money and has pulled in the Homeless and Poor as victims in our community. These asset forfeitures are meant to asset strip real criminals that are selling large amount of drugs, but without any type of oversight, Fast Eddie Garcia has allowed this dragnet to suck in our most vulnerable population. The City of San Jose knows the people that have it the hardest cannot afford to fight for there property in a civil process and this intern nets the city a massive amount of valuables that are sold off to provide a "Black" slush fund of cash for the Police Department.
